Two of my good friends Jason and Gretchen have quickly become two of my favorite reoccurring clients. I spent a weekend with them on the very edge of Washington State shooting their maternity session and I also shot for 30 hours while they awaited the arrival of their baby boy David. But before all that, I had the great pleasure of traveling to the wedding of his older cousin (by 9 whopping days), Jeni to Greg in Boulder Colorado and spending a few days photographing an important event of their life.
My favorite part about Jeni & Greg’s wedding was that every moment of it was a true reflection of who they are as a couple. Their outdoor wedding in the middle of Four Mile Canyon at Adventure Lodge reflected their passion for spending time outdoors. The bike ride through the canyon to get to their wedding venue at the lodge was the perfect way to for these two outdoor enthusiasts to mentally prepare for their wedding. Jeni’s inclusion of her cousin Jason in her Bridal party was such a special touch. Surrounded by many of their closest friends and family this Fall outdoor wedding was everything special I look to document. The people, stories, and moments in the photos below show just this. I love this family.
