Creating this blog was the hardest thing I have done all year. Granted, we are only 8 days into 2015… but I feel it is important to share just how challenging it was to select my favorite photos from the 2014 wedding season. What an excellent problem to have. I finally narrowed it down a little over 100.

At the start of 2014 I set out to not only to capture great shots, but to also tell memorable stories through each photograph.  As I look through the 15 weddings I photographed, I feel that my work has really grown over the past year as a photojournalist.  With the help of my amazing clients and their loving families I feel accomplished in meeting my goal to tell their remarkably unique stories. These moments from 2014 will stay with me forever.

Over the year I also had the great pleasure to work along side two photographers from Portland and Corvallis, Yasmin Khajavi and Amanda Long. It was an absolute thrill to work collaboratively with other talented photographers and to help to tell their clients’ wedding story as a second photographer.

Traveling all around Washington, Portland, and Palm Springs this was an incredible year of photographing weddings. I’m so excited for 2015 and all the new and exciting storied that have yet to be told.
