One of the things I really love about downtown Seattle Pioneer Square engagement sessions is the simplicity and elegance of the stone buildings, like the iconic Smith Tower, Seattle’s first sky scraper. They provide a classy backdrop for engagement photos that always turn out beautifully. Plus, the area has a romantic charm that perfectly complements the love and joy of an engagement session.
This is my favorite go to locations for engagement sessions in downtown Seattle is Pioneer Square. This was the second spot we chose for this particular session, and let me tell you, the sunset light was absolutely stunning there. As a Seattle wedding photographer sunsets are something we are always thankful full.
During this particular session, the couple decided to dress up a bit. She wore a gorgeous black cocktail dress with sequins at the bottom, and he looked dashing in a casual grey suit jacket. Together, they created a timeless and effortlessly stylish look that was perfect for this setting.
To add an extra special touch to the Downtown Seattle Pioneer Square Couples Portraits, they popped a bottle of champagne in an alleyway. The atmosphere was so relaxed and fun, and it made for some truly amazing and candid shots. It’s moments like these that make engagement sessions so memorable and unique.
Throughout the session, we had the opportunity to capture some creative portraits. The golden hour lighting during the sunset provided a warm and ethereal glow that highlighted the couple’s love and happiness. It was truly magical, especially the last photo.
