Freddie and Bryan’s wedding ceremony at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral followed by a reception at Inglewood Golf Club wedding was such a beautiful day. It was a big celebration centered around faith, and close family and friends. At the heart of both the wedding ceremony and wedding reception was great music. In fact, the day featured two of Seattle’s best musical talents.
The day began at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral. This beautiful church is located in north Seattle and is LGBTQ friendly. I have such an appreciation for the church design, featuring a blend of both modern and traditional architecture.
Freddie, who is the Conductor and Artistic Director of the Seattle Choral Company, arranged for the choir to preform during the wedding ceremony. Throughout the church service, the choir’s powerful and exquisite voices were goosebump inducing as their music filled the church. It was a meaningful and personal touch to an already heartfelt ceremony.
After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed to Kirkland for the Inglewood Golf Club wedding reception. Guests enjoyed cocktails outside on the patio where the flowers were in full bloom. As the sun began to set, we took some portraits. The golden glow of the sun reflected so beautifully against the large pond along the golf course.
When the sun went down, guests headed inside for the rest of Inglewood Golf Club wedding reception. Their close friends gave some humorous and very sincere toasts. As the toasts wrapped up, everyone in the whole room surprised Freddie and Bryan. They stood up and sang a song in unison to the newlyweds. It was truly a magical sight to see all the special people in their lives singing to them. I can not recall the exact song, but their reaction was memorable. Freddie and Bryan were surprised and noticeably moved by this gesture.
Elegant music continued into the reception as the Jim Cutler Quintet preformed and everyone danced along. Everyone wanted to dance with Freddie and Bryan – guests were taking turns. As the night came to a close, Freddie and Bryan were able to share the very last dance with each other.
