Payton and Jeff’s Langdon Farms Golf Club wedding in Aurora, Oregon was wonderful from beginning to end in every way imaginable.
Before the wedding ceremony and reception at Langdon Farms, Jeff, Payton, and their family and bridal party were hanging out together at their Airbnb. It was a great way for everyone to spend time together before the wedding. The morning started off quiet and relaxing as Jeff and his groomsmen all played a round of mini-golf in the front yard. I have to say, having a mini-golf course right on the property was opportune amenity for wedding guests. Payton had a fun morning with her bridesmaids as well. Before her hair and makeup, Payton wanted to spend some time outside too. The girls all ran outside to play on the oversized swing and popped some champagne. She also worked on her final copy of her vows.
After everyone was ready they all drove over to Langdon Farms for the wedding. When they arrived at the venue Payton and Jeff met for their first look under the willow tree. It was a quiet spot for them see each other and share a few moments alone. Afterward, we rode on golf carts to a few other locations for portraits. We spots by the red barn next to the golf course and the large pond. Their first look and ceremony were both special and meaningful parts of their wedding day.
The ceremony took place in a large quiet field behind a big row of tall trees, secluded away from everything. Located further from the Langdon Farms golf course meant that it was a perfectly private area with a serene atmosphere for the ceremony. Nearing the end of the ceremony, Jeff and Payton put unread letters to each other in a sealed box. They put a bottle of wine along with with the letter for them to open on a future anniversary. Their officiant, a very close and dear friend to them, preformed a heartfelt and sincere wedding ceremony. The ceremony left tears in people’s eyes, including his own. Following the ceremony, massive hugs were shared all around as the bridal party were the first to congratulate Payton and Jeff.
As the sun set earlier this time of year, the wedding reception moved inside of the Red Shed at Langdon Farms. Family and friends toasted the newlyweds – with a particularly memorable humorous and heartfelt speech by Payton’s dad. The night was filled with dancing, laughing, before ending with a sparkler exit. With an abundance of guests there to celebrate there was never a dull moment.
