Winter is here and the light is incredible this time of year. During my latest engagement session in Leavenworth WA it was incredible experiencing golden hour lighting for nearly 2 hours when I normally would only have 20 minutes in the summer. Maddie and Austin have spent many weekends at their cabin in Plain just outside of Leavenworth. I was along for the ride as these two and their group of friends traveled to their favorite spots to take photos. The beautiful mountains of Leavenworth, the river boulder and old wood bridges along the Wenatchee River, open fields scattered with Birch and Evergreen, and just a hint of snow made this destination engagement session have the most incredible backdrops. While we would have loved to have more snow on the ground there is talk of Part II with these two so there maybe Leavenworth snow engagement photos to come…
