Mazama Ranch House Wedding

This wedding at the Mazama Ranch House in the Methow Valley was absolutely stunning. Mazama holds a special place in their hearts as it is where they would spend many winter trips skate skiing together on the Methow Trails. Every winter, they would make trips to Mazama and enjoy gliding between Mazama and Winthrop Washington.

The weekend long started with a drive through the North Cascades National Park was breathtaking, especially since it’s usually closed during the winter. Friday night with a cozy rehearsal dinner by a campfire. They played yard games and had wonderful conversations under the starry sky.

The wedding day itself was an intimate affair, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Many of them stayed at the Mazama Ranch House, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. The ceremony was held in a secluded spot, nestled among a group of trees at the bottom of the Methow Valley, with majestic mountains as the backdrop.

After the heartfelt ceremony, everyone shared a delicious meal and indulged in a variety of homemade desserts lovingly prepared by one of their dear friends. The beautifully arranged tables and stunning wedding bouquet were courtesy of Twisted Willow Florals from Winthrop.

The next morning, after a well-deserved rest, they all went on a refreshing hike. The day was filled with more yard games and laughter as they relished in the joy of the newlywed couple. It was a three-day extravaganza of joy, laughter, and love, dedicated to celebrating Kait and Nick’s marriage.

As a documentary wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing all these heartfelt and candid moments throughout the three-day celebration. I aimed to create creative portraits that truly captured the essence of Kait and Nick’s wedding, focusing on the emotions and genuine interactions between them and their loved ones.

Kait and Nick’s Mazama Ranch House wedding was a true reflection of who they are as a couple together. It was a joyous celebration filled with heartfelt moments, candid laughter, and beautiful memories to last a lifetime. All in location spacial to them both that they now have new memories to relive with family and friends.
