Kyla and Carissa’s Trinity Tree Farm wedding at The Barn was the perfect outdoor summer celebration.
When we first met, they were both so remarkably warm and nice. From that moment I knew they were going to be a wonderful couple to photograph. Their wedding day turned out to be an exquisite and genuine reflection of them.
The wedding took place at Trinity Tree Farm’s venue, The Barn. I feel so fortunate to have photographed this venue more times than any other wedding venue in Seattle. Even though I’ve photographed The Barn many times before, each time comes with new excitement. A new couple, new family, and new love all bring something different to look forward too.
Kyla and Carissa’s wedding day had a relaxing and fun essence vibe. It was the kind of day spent enjoying the company of those around you – laughing freely, being fully present in the moment, and feeling the love of their family and friends. During both of their wedding vows and throughout the toasts, a multitude of happy tears and laughter were simultaneously shared.
The last photo of the evening was a night portrait with Kyla and Carissa that is very special to me. At every Trinity Tree Farm wedding in the past, I have always captured my night portrait by the long outdoor fireplace. Having photographed many portraits at night at the same fireplace, I knew I wanted to try something different.
Their wedding coordinator, Brittny, was clearing tables of candles when I got the idea to add all the candles to the fireplace. The tall candles and added ambiance made the whole fireplace even more elegant. In the end, we made my favorite new night portrait.
Kyla and Carissa’s Trinity Tree Farm wedding at The Barn ended with lots of hugs and kisses from all their family and friends. The perfect way to bring such a great wedding day to a close.
