Photographing J & G’s wedding at La Fortaleza in Mallorca, Spain, was an experience I had been looking forward to for a long time. As one of the most breathtaking wedding venues in the world, La Fortaleza combines historic architecture, stunning Mediterranean views, and an atmosphere of timeless elegance. Their September wedding took full advantage of Mallorca’s beautiful weather and golden light, creating the perfect setting for unforgettable photographs. Every corner of the property offered a new perspective, from the dramatic coastal vistas to the intimate courtyards tucked within the estate. It was one of those rare weddings where inspiration seemed endless and every moment felt worthy of being documented.

I had the privilege of second shooting for Kristen Marie Parker, an opportunity that made the experience even more meaningful. It was one of two wedding in Europe I would be photographing with Kirsten in 2025. Throughout the day, J & G were surrounded by incredible scenery, but it was their connection and genuine joy that truly made the photographs special. Capturing their celebration against the backdrop of Mallorca’s coastline was both creatively fulfilling and personally rewarding. The combination of a beautiful couple, an iconic venue, and an unforgettable destination wedding made for a truly exceptional experience.

Even now, as I look back through the gallery, this remains a wedding I wish I could photograph many times over again. While editing the images, I found myself rewatching the BBC series “The Night Manager” which famously featured La Fortaleza as one of its stunning filming locations. Seeing the estate appear on screen while simultaneously reliving the memories from J & G’s wedding at La Fortaleza in Mallorca, Spain made the editing process even more enjoyable. It served as a reminder of just how remarkable this venue is and why this September wedding remains one of my favorite photography experiences to date.
